Creating a constraint between two Gantt elements

To create a constraint, go to one of the following Gantt views:

1. Project Gantt
2. Area Gantt
3. Multi-zone Gantt

To create a constraint between items (Tasks, Lists and Milestones), hover over the original item, then click and drag the yellow constraint creation arrow to the target item.

Select the constraint parameters :

Determine whether your target element should start exactly, no later than or no earlier than the origin element.

Click on “Create”.

Now that the constraint exists, modifying the dates of the origin element will move the target element.
